Stayed here last week of August and was pleasantly surprised. It is an older resort but the unit we had had recently been updated. We had a 2 bedroom with upstairs loft. Unit was clean and the bbq outside front door was a nice bonus. Nice pool and tennis courts on site and very close to all the attractions nearby. Check in was at 3 pm and that was the time staff arrived to check people in. We have stayed at many other timeshares in the area and Cathedral Ledge is as good as any of them.

My parents have owned two units here for 25 years. I have had great memories of coming here. I’ve read through all the comments and what has been said here is pretty accurate. While the units are pretty dated, they are for the most part clean. I have noticed signs of water damage in some corners of the ceilings and moss along the outside of the units but I believe a lot of the structural reasons for this have been or are in the process of being addressed. One of the reason is the very 80ish decks above, the top one now having been removed from the units, hence the “Danger, Do Not Open” signs referred to in other reviews.

I am encouraged by the efforts by the new management. The pool area has always been lots of fun. I understand a leak has been fixed recently as well as many broken patio doors. A new working door has been installed and the other ones have been replaced by windows. This year we interrupted a pool cleaning.

I noticed a lot of activity by maintenance staff during this visit. There was lots of yard work going on and even someone working on the aforementioned moss.

Also regarding the pool, we have spent hours at the pool during each visit. We have it to ourselves most of the time. On only a few occasions have we ever had to share it wih three families in the last 25 years.

I can’t say enough about what a great place this is (the resort and area) for families. We shop for clothes for the kids for school (and no sales tax!). We enjoy driving or hiking up Mt Washington, have explored the outdoors by hikes to waterfalls, take trips on the trains, enjoy the downtown North Coway shops and playground, and enjoy visiting the many junior theme parks and acitivities in the area. We come back for a BBQed dinner, an evening swim, and a family movie. Twenty-five years and we have yet to do all that is offered in the area. And the location is fantastic.

We booked this time share in the hopes of having some family time and skiing. We got both. The location of the condo was excellent and there were many ski hills to choose from. The front desk staff was very helpful – they even gave us directions over the phone while we were driving and happened to be there late when we checked in late. We are a family of 6 and our children loved the pool and hot tub and having a 2 bedroom condo with the loft gave everyone the space they needed. We hope to come back again maybe in the summer and will definitely try to come again in the winter and try some other ski hills. Thanks for a great week. 🙂

I have been going to north conway area for years and cathedral ledge is definitely my favorite place to stay. My kids love the indoor outdoor pool which is never crowded and I love the hot tub. The units are all roomy and currently being updated.. Its 5 minutes from the outlets and 15 from storyland. You cant beat the size of the unit and the location. It also has a washer and dryer.

I booked a condo over the phone for a Saturday night planning a trip to Story Land on Sunday. Place was Perfect, 3 bedrooms, Fireplace clean and all linens provided! Great indoor/outdoor pool, Hot tub, Sauna and game room for the kids. less than 4 miles from Storyland and the staff were more than helpful. I plan to return

We had such a wonderful time this year at The Ledge. The weather could not have been better- warm/hot days and cool nights. During these past few years The Ledge has been undergoing a much needed facelift. Our unit finally got the new windows needed in the bedrooms. The pool area was great and it was so nice to see many people enjoying the pool. It reminded me of the past. I have been coming up here since the resort first opened in the early 1980’s with my parents, sister, cousins, aunt and uncle when this resort was considered the premier spot. I am thrilled that my children love to come here- it holds a special place in my heart.

The location cannot be beat – minutes to everything the valley has to offer. We started our vacation going to the Polar Caves ( 80 minutes away), Storyland ( 7 minutes away), Cranmore Mountain Adventure Park ( 5 minutes away) , Canoeing on the Saco River – Sacobound- (20 minutes away), and of course shopping not only in the outlets but in North Conway. Center. Zeb’s General Store, Beggar’s Pouch, 5 and 10, and Spruce Hurricane not to be missed.
We even had some afternoons and a day where we just relaxed by the very clean pool.
The unit has 2 bedrooms, 21/2 baths, loft, full kitchen, dining room, family room, and outdoor grill and in unit washer and dryer. Only the Master Bedroom has AC but that will change with the renovations. The unit can sleep 8 – futon in loft, sleep sofa in family room.
Staff was friendly and helpful- we had no major issues with our unit and cannot wait to come back in the winter.
